My Best Face Ever with Skindinavia

As usual no edits, no filters
As a product junkie, I have an infinite list of products which I either need or need to try.

Skindinavia products have been on that list for a while.

I came close to making the purchase several times and always held back because my good sense kicked in and said wisely that it’s not prudent to go buckwild on products which you’re not even sure will work for your obstinate skin.
Then, I discovered mini ones on Amazon at a fraction of the cost and finally got the chance to try them. Yay me!

I hereby introduce you to the Skindinavia Makeup Primer for oily skin and the Finishing Spray also for oily skin.

The company also creates primer sprays and finishing sprays for normal skin and in the ‘Bridal’ category (I’m assuming dewy finish.)

Anywho, I had seen good reviews for the oily skin and I thought what the heck, it wouldn’t hurt to have yet another product for my oily skin.

My first impressions of the primer were:

I could never get enough uses from this 0.66 oz container to get a real feel of its performance.
The product sprays out really well with no heavy drops on my face. It’s closer to a mist.
I couldn’t see or feel any change on my skin after I sprayed it on.
There was no scent at all.
There was no need to get my hands or any other tools involved.
Then, I applied my liquid foundation and my eyes boggled. The foundation literally slid across my skin and melted like butter! I thought to myself, this isn’t going to work; my face is bound to be oily and a runny mess in two hours.

I went on to finish the rest of my makeup- bronzer and lipstick included- and sprayed on the finishing spray. Again, a very light mist with no droplets or visible disturbance on the setting powder.

When I looked in the mirror after a few minutes, I was really very very impressed. Everything was seamlessly blended together and looked like skin. My blush looked like it came from my skin, my highlighter looked natural and my face didn’t look powdered. I’m talking about a real close up worthy picture.

The finished product was literally the best makeup I had ever done on myself.

The real test came when I went out into the real world. Based on my too-smooth-to-be-matte makeup application, I fully expected to be a beautiful greasy mess. I was so paranoid that I kept glancing at my reflection in mirrored surfaces as I went through my day. (Not pride people, just fear that my face was melting)

I stayed out for about four hours and really checked my makeup with a mirror and lo! Not only was it not greasy but it was in place and just as if I had just finished applying it.

It wasn’t a dry matte either. The oily skin primer spray is a natural matte finish but the finishing spray is not. It wasn’t all the way dewy either- it was honestly a beautiful balance.

(I probably took 30 selfies that day)

Let me tell you, I was at home for three hours and could not bring myself to take it off. I couldn’t stop staring at myself!

And the mini bottles? Not a bad purchase at all. I have so far gotten about 10 uses out of them and they’re not done yet. I got to try them both for US $25 and I have no regrets at all.

Does the primer compare to my milk of magnesia? Well, milk of magnesia as a primer is a dry matte finish but it's not actually created for skin...

I do think the magnesia goes well with the finishing spray for me except the priming spray gives you such a smooth application...

This is a hard decision..... but I choose all three. I refuse to choose.

They come in three sizes: 4oz which should last about three months if used daily, 8oz predicted to last about six months and the trial size of 0.66oz.

They have an online deal where you can buy both the primer and finishing spray at a bundle price and get two free minis plus free shipping! [Use code FREE15]
